FLORENCE – The University of North Alabama women's basketball team shot over 56 percent from the floor in a 101-32 win over Oakwood Wednesday evening at Flowers Hall. The victory gives the Lions a 3-4 record on the season.

Five players reached double figures in scoring as UNA went over 100 points for the second time this season. The Lions also improved to 3-0 all-time against Oakwood, eclipsing the century mark in each game.

For the game, all 12 UNA roster players saw action and scored on the night.

North Alabama scored the first 12 points of the game and held the Ambassadors scoreless for the first 6:47 of playing time. After getting a free throw at the 3:16 mark, Oakwood hit its first shot from the floor in the closing minute of the first quarter. UNA took a 19-5 lead after the opening period.

The lead broke 50 points early in the fourth quarter on a transition basket by Patrycia Jaworska with 8:24 remaining. Tiahna Sears later connected in the paint to give the Lions a 90-30 advantage.

The largest lead of the night came late in the game when a steal by Reagan Hune led to a fast-break basket by Moore. The layup put UNA over 100 points and made the score 101-31 in the closing minute.

Moore tied a career-high with 18 points. Lee recorded her fourth double-double of the season with 12 points and 14 rebounds. Alexis Callins added 11 points, 10 rebounds and four blocked shots while Skyler Gill scored 10 points in her season debut.
