NASHVILLE, Tenn., – Lipscomb remained undefeated in league play with a 3-0 home win over North Alabama Monday in ASUN Conference volleyball action. The 25-13, 25-22, 25-12 loss gives UNA an 0-4 record on the season, including an 0-3 start to ASUN play.
Lipscomb (6-1 overall, 3-0 ASUN) used strong early runs to race out to double-digit leads in the first and thirds sets. The Bisons were able to hold off UNA in the second set.
As a team, Lipscomb hit .378 and had two players account for 28 kills.
Kamryn Parsonage led UNA with seven kills. The freshman from Cypress, Calif., has led the team in the category in each of the first four matches on the year. She added seven digs on the night.
Katie Gerig led the Lions with eight digs while Maggie Sullivan and Anna Katherine Griggs had four blocks each.
UNA will host Lipscomb Tuesday evening. Match time is set for 7 p.m. at Flowers Hall.
