OXFORD, Miss. -- Ole Miss scored in each of the first six innings and had 16 total hits as the Rebels rolled to a 20-3 win over North Alabama at Swayze Field.
The game was stopped after seven innings due to the run rule.
UNA is now 6-17 overall, while the #10 ranked Rebels improved to 17-7.
The Rebels took a 1-0 lead in the bottom of the first inning with a leadoff home run, but UNA answered with a run in the top of the second.
Drew Hudson singled, stole second and scored on a ground-out by
Zak Majer that tied it at 1-1.
Ole Miss got two runs in the second, five in the third and nine in the fourth for a 17-1 lead.
UNA got its other two runs in the fifth when
Luke Harper walked and
Austin Thrasher followed with a two-run homer. It was his first home run of the season.
The Rebels got two more runs in the fifth inning and one in the sixth to make it 20-3.
The Rebels hit five home runs and had nine extra-base hits against five UNA pitchers.
The Lions were held to just five hits and made four errors.

Austin Nichols (0-4) took the loss for UNA, allowing three runs on two hits over two innings.
North Alabama hosts a three-game ASUN Conference series this weekend against Central Arkansas, beginning Friday at 5 p.m. at Mike Lane Field.
