Will Haberstock and
Austin Emener combined to limit Central Arkansas to just one run on six hits and led North Alabama to a 3-1 ASUN Conference baseball win over the Bears at Mike Lane Field.

UNA scored a run in the first inning and never trailed in the game, taking a 2-1 lead in the seventh inning and adding an insurance run in the eighth.

With the win, UNA improves to 7-18 overall and 2-6 in ASUN play. UCA falls to 10-15 overall and 5-3 in the ASUN.

North Alabama got a leadoff single from
Luke Harper in the bottom of the first inning and he then stole second and scored on an RBI-double by
Devne Daniel.

UCA tied the game with a run in the top of the fourth on two hits and two wild pitches.

In UNA's half of the seventh,
Drew Hudson singled and stole second before
Peyton Thomas drove him in with an RBI-single.

Austin Thrasher then scored UNA's final run, reaching on a single, advancing to second on a throwing error and scoring on a Daniel RBI-single.

Haberstock (2-3) pitched seven complete innings to get the win for UNA, allowing just one run on five hits with one walk and six strikeouts.

Emener came on to pitch the final two innings and allowed just one hit while striking out three. He earned his fourth save of the season.

Hudson and Daniel led UNA's eight-hit attack with two hits each.
