FLORENCE, Ala. --

"That win was big," said UNA Head Soccer Coach
Chris Walker. "We had a tough, physical game on Friday and you never know how you will come out after that. But Alice got us on the board and
Hope Lensing,
Grace Lensing,
Morgan Ebert and
Izzi Gurney were fantastic. They broke down everything and gave us a physical presence."
The Lions out-shot the Bruins 16 to seven in the win.
UNA goalkeeper
Payton Yates kept a clean sheet for the season.
With the win, North Alabama is off to its first 2-0 start since 2018.
The Lions travel to Mobile to face South Alabama on Thursday, August 25.
