FLORENCE, Ala. -- The University of North Alabama beach volleyball team pushed its current winning streak to six straight matches with two wins over Tennessee-Martin at the UNA Beach Volleyball Complex. The Lions swept the Skyhawks 5-0 in the opener and followed with a 4-1 win in the second match.

UNA took straight set wins in each of the five matches in the opener. The Lions got wins at No. 4 and No. 5 and clinched it with a win at No. 1 by Paula Klemperer and Taylor Seney, 21-13, 21-12.

In the second match, UT-Martin got a win at No. 5 and the Lions won at No. 4, sending it to the final three matches tied 1-1. Klemperer and Taylor Floyd then got a win at No. 1 to give UNA a 2-1 lead. The team of Martha McLaurin and Selma Robinson then dominated at No. 3, 21-10, 21-8 to clinch the win. The Lions added an extra point with a win at No. 2.

McLaurin and Robinson have the most wins of UNA pair this season at 10-5. Mckenzie Martin and Katy Floyd have 12 wins each, nine together and three each with another partner.

North Alabama is now 9-7 on the season, while UT-Martin falls to 6-4.
