JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- With a 3-2 win over Jacksonville, the University of North Alabama advanced to the second round of the ASUN Conference Beach Volleyball Tournament and notched its 20th win of an already record-breaking season.

The Lions got a quick win from its No. 4 pair of Natalie Kordt and Jelena Girod, 21-12, 21-17, while the Dolphins got a win at No. 5.
Selma Robinson and Martha McLaurin then added a 21-14, 21-16 win at No. 3 to give UNA a 2-1 overall match advantage.

UNA's all-conference No. 1 pair of Paula Klemperer and Taylor Seney then delivered the winning point with a hard-fought 27-25, 21-14 win over Jacksonville's Jenna McNamara and Emily Kubicsko.

JU got its second point with a win at No. 2, 21-16, 21-17.

North Alabama will now face 18th ranked Stetson at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Hatters defeated Central Arkansas 5-0 on Friday.
