NOTES

Seminole Intercollegiate: The Seminole Intercollegiate field is made up of 14 teams, including six power five opponents. Florida State, Ole Miss, Arkansas, Mississippi State, Boston College and Indiana highlight some of the teams participating. North Alabama is also joined by in-state opponents UAB and Troy as well as ASUN foe Stetson. Ole Miss and Arkansas are both in the top ten of Spikemark's NCAA Division I men's golf rankings while Florida State is 12th. Four other participants are ranked inside the top 100.

The Savannah Intercollegiate Recap: North Alabama dominated the field from start to finish, taking home the team crown alongside a pair of individual medalists. Sebastian Bengtsson and John Logan used 209 totals to tie each other for the individual tournament titles. The Lions also won the team crown with a 14 stroke victory over second place Harvard. Andrew Ferworn placed in the top ten, tying for seventh place while Eric Luo tied for 20th. Chase Kaiser rounded out the team with a 47th place finish.

Title Town: North Alabama won both the team and individual titles at the Savannah Intercollegiate. Sebastian Bengtsson and John Logan became the first North Alabama individuals to win a tournament since Francois Jacobs won the Gulf Coast Collegiate last spring. The team victory serves as the second under Schmitz Family Head Golf Coach Austin Phillips in his first year with the program. Phillips has two team titles in just six tournaments this season, the first coming in the MartinFed Invitational at Turtle Point.

Postseason in Sight: This year's ASUN Men's Golf Championship takes place at Highland Oaks golf course in Dothan, Ala. on April 21-23. All 12 ASUN teams will participate in the tournament for a chance at an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.

Spring Cleaning: Following The Seminole Intercollegiate, the Lions have three more tournaments before moving on to postseason. The Bridgestone Collegiate Invitational, Golfweek/Any Given Tuesday Invite and Mountaineer Invitational round out the regular season. All five remaining tournaments will be conducted in different states, including Florida, California, South Carolina and West Virginia before playing in the ASUN Championship in Alabama.
