FLORENCE, Ala. (April 5, 2024) – The University of North Alabama held an introductory press conference with new women's basketball head coach Candi Whitaker on Thursday, April 4 at 11:30 a.m. inside the Pierce Hospitality Suite at CB&S Bank Arena.

Members of five different television/digital outlets and two print media outlets were in attendance, as well as various members of the campus and Shoals community. The event was also streamed on ESPN+.
