6. STADIUM INFORMATION: The Memphis Tigers play at Simmons Bank Liberty Stadium, which currently seats up to 58,325 fans. This facility is the annual site of the Liberty Bowl and was built as Memphis Memorial Stadium in 1965. This will be the first game hosted by the University of Memphis since obtaining ownership of the stadium in December 2023.
7. PARKING: There are 4,500 parking spaces located on the Stadium's property at Liberty Park. These are located in various lots on property, accessed from primary Access Points on Central Avenue, South Hollywood Street, East Parkway and Southern Avenue. For a full map,

8. NOT THE FIRST MEETING: UNA and Memphis will meet for the second time ever, as the Tigers defeated the Lions in 2022. This will be the eighth time UNA has faced an FBS opponent, including one each of the last three seasons. The Lions battled No. 4 Florida State to end last season.
9. LIONS VS. FBS OPPONENTS: UNA has faced 12 opponents who are currently at the FBS level, some of which were played while they were members of Division II or FCS (formerly Division I-AA). Those schools include Appalachian State, BYU, UCF, Florida State, Jacksonville State, Kennesaw State, Liberty, Memphis, MTSU, Louisiana, Troy and Vanderbilt. The Lions own claim to one of the only Division II over FBS wins in college football history, defeating Louisiana (then Southwestern Louisiana State) by a 48-42 final in four overtimes at Cajun Field in 1997.
10. TIES TO THE AMERICAN: Memphis remains the only opponent UNA has faced from the American Athletic Conference, although there is one interesting tie to another member of the conference. Hall of Fame head coach Bobby Wallace coached at UNA from 1988 to 1997 and led the Lions to three consecutive NCAA Division II National Championships. He made the jump from Division II to Division I in 1998 to take the head coaching job at Temple, who was in the Big East Conference at the time and now is a member of the AAC. He coached there until 2005.
