ST. JOSEPH, Mo. (August 11, 2026) – University of North Alabama offensive coordinator Travis Partridge received a prestigious honor Monday, as he was named to the Missouri Western Griffons Hall of Fame as part of the Class of 2026.
 
Partridge was a standout quarterback at Mo West from 2009-13, leading the Griffons to the most dominant stretch in program history. The team finished 29-8 with him under center, as Partridge was a three-time All-MIAA selection, a First Team Don Hansen Super Region Three selection and a Done Hansen Honorable Mention All-American.
 
"Some people grow up with professional athletes as their heroes…mine were past Griffons," Partridge said in a social media post. "To go in the same hall of fame as them, the same hall of fame as some of my teammates and the same hall of fame as my father is an unbelievable honor. I'm so grateful to many."
 
Following a historic senior season, Partridge rewrote the career record book at Mo West. He currently holds the school record for career rushing touchdowns with 36, ranks third all-time in career passing yards (6,754), passing touchdowns (70) and total offense (8,315) and fifth in total points scored (216).
 
He also set single season records in 2012 with 18 rushing touchdowns and 3,157 total yards of offense. For his efforts, he was later named to the MWSU 2010s All-Decade Team.
 
"What an honor it is for Travis Partridge to be recognized for his time as a great player," said UNA head coach Brent Dearmon. "Watching him grow from a great player to one of the best offensive coordinators I have been around has been a joy."
 
Partridge enters his first season as the OC for the Lions, following stints at FBS Bowling Green and FCS members Tennessee State and UT Martin. In 2024, his Tennessee State offense led the way for the program's first playoff appearance since 2013.
 
One of Partridge's former teammates will also be inducted this year — NFL All-Pro kicker Greg Zuerlein. Both played for the Griffons in 2011 and Zuerlein set an NCAA Division II record with 21 consecutive made field goals, including nine that were 50 yards are longer.
 
Partridge joins his father, Jerry Partridge, in the Mo West Hall of Fame. The elder Partridge, inducted in 2011, became the football program's winningest coach with a 106-61 overall record at the time of his induction. He is now the head coach at Northwestern Oklahoma State.

"The Partridge name is synonymous with the history and success of Missouri Western Football, making Travis's induction into the Griffons Hall of Fame alongside his father deeply special. He represents what makes this profession so rewarding, and we're proud to celebrate him as a Griffon legend and a valued leader on our staff."
