ABOUT THE BLUE GRAY CLASSIC
The 77th edition of the tournament finds North Alabama competing against some of the top Division I teams in the country. The Lions are one of eight teams competing with the field including Alabama, Auburn, Boise State, Clemson, Georgia Tech, Rice and Tulane.
The draw features each program having four players paired off in groups of two competing in separate draws.
Players will advance as a pair throughout the compass style tournament. Each school will start with their doubles team competing against another school's doubles team. Once the doubles match has been completed, the doubles players play in singles with the two-highest ranking players going head-to-head.
Singles will be played best of three, and the school that wins at least two of the three matches (doubles, singles, singles) will advance to the right in the compass draw while the losing pair will move to the left.
Draws will be finalized in the coming days, and live results will be updated throughout the tournament on the event website.
