MONTGOMERY, Ala. (October 3, 2026) – The University of North Alabama women's tennis players senior Mathilde Delaney and sophomore Sammie Schouten competed at the Blue Gray Classic hosted by the City of Montgomery on Saturday, Oct. 3.

The Lions received a last-minute invite on Thursday to compete in the tournament after Iowa State dropped out due to travel issues. Play began on Friday and was supposed to end on Sunday but ended today due to the weather.
