BATON ROUGE, La. (February 28, 2026) – The University of North Alabama beach volleyball team concluded the Tiger Beach Challenge on Saturday with two wins over Houston Christian and ULM in Baton Rouge, La.
The Lions capped the weekend with a perfect day on day two. UNA left Baton Rouge with three total wins after landing an opening-day victory over Southern Miss on Friday, Feb. 27. North Alabama returns to Florence with its fifth and sixth wins of the season.
Graduate Audrey Gauthier and senior Selma Robinson totaled two wins from flight one, along with third-flight duo Brooke Bolden and Jennah Atchley. Senior Lucy Wedding additionally went 2-0 after playing with senior Hailey Benesz vs. Houston Christian and freshman Emma White against ULM.
Sophomore Paige Griner and graduate Sarah Larkin Lewis tallied a second-flight win against Houston Christian to round out UNA's winners.
Match 1 — North Alabama 4, Houston Christian 1
North Alabama kicked off Saturday with its second all-time victory over the Huskies. The top four UNA flights secured wins, led by Robinson and Gauthier from the top flight in a 21-12, 21-11 win over Alexa Landmark and Olivia Zeigler. Griner and Lewis were winners from court two in a 21-15, 21-16 win over Hannah Foor and Paige Palmer.
The third flight saw Bolden and Atchley continue their winning ways with a 21-19, 21-18 triumph over Grace Melnick and Lauren Vickery. The fourth flight of Benesz and Wedding ended the dual with a 21-14, 21-16 win over Dariya Tlevlessova and Claudia Verdejo Lozano.

North Alabama concluded the invite with a triumph over ULM to finish 2-0 on the day. Robinson and Gauthier earned their second win of the day in a 20-22, 23-21, 15-11 battle over Abby Ryno and Claire Williamson. Atchley and Bolden also earned their second win after defeating Calli Otjen and Izabela Zukowska from the third flight, 21-13, 21-19.
Wedding and White helped secure the win after a fourth-flight triumph over Katie Feltz and Natalie Taggart, 21-13, 21-18.
