JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (March 21, 2026) – The University of North Alabama women's tennis team preps for high-level Atlantic Sun Conference action Sunday, March 22 in a battle vs. North Florida in Jacksonville, Fla.
The Lions enter the away matchup on fire with 11-straight wins and look to bring down the Ospreys after their undefeated start to the season. North Alabama looks to give the Ospreys their first loss while going for a program-record 12th-consecutive victory.

SCOUTING THE LIONS: The Lions are looking to stay hot after a three-win week last time out in sweeps over Murray State, Western Kentucky and Chattanooga. UNA is winning singles at a 75.4 rate and 66.7 percent of doubles matches. Junior Emma Ansorge continued her undefeated run after the last week of action, sporting an 11-0 singles record and 10-0 doubles record. Freshman Sammie Schouten is second with nine singles wins followed by a tie for third by senior Eeva Ristola and junior Mathilde Delaney. Delaney also continues to be unbeaten in doubles with partner Ansorge. Ristola and freshman Farah Asaad have seven doubles victories on the season.
SCOUTING NORTH FLORIDA: The Ospreys look to extend their winning ways for a 17th-straight dual against the Lions. North Florida won three duals in the last week with victories over Lipscomb, UAB and Appalachian State. The Ospreys win doubles at a 71.1 percent rate and singles at an 80.7 percent mark. Isabel Oliveira is the ASUN's current Women's Tennis Player of the Week, coming into the dual with eight doubles victories and seven singles wins. Aryana Bartlett leads the team with 23 total victories between singles and doubles. Catherine Dunagan is the head coach for North Florida.
SERIES HISTORY: North Alabama goes for its second all-time victory over North Florida in the seventh series meeting. The Lions defeated the Ospreys for the first time in series history last time out, taking down North Florida 4-1 in the ASUN Tournament Semifinal on April 18, 2025.
