NASHVILLE, Tenn. (April 2, 2026) – The University of North Alabama women's tennis team will hit the road Friday, April 3 for an Atlantic Sun Conference dual at Lipscomb in Nashville, Tenn.
The Lions travel to Tennessee in their third and final conference contest of the regular season. With the ASUN Tournament less than two weeks away, North Alabama looks to claim its second conference win and gain momentum towards the postseason.

SCOUTING THE LIONS: The Lions secured a Senior Day sweep last time out in a 7-0 victory over Tennessee State on March 31. UNA capped its home schedule with a strong showing against the Tigers, concluding the home slate with a perfect 7-0 record. It also marked the eighth sweep of the season with North Alabama also winning its 13th dual in its previous 14 contests. UNA is winning 74.7 percent of singles bouts and 67.5 percent of doubles. Junior Emma Ansorge leads the team with a 13-1 record followed by freshman Sammie Schouten with a 12-3 record. Senior Eeva Ristola and junior Mathilde Delaney are tied for third with nine singles victories. Ansorge and Delaney have a perfect 13-0 record in doubles. Ristola and freshman Farah Asaad have won eight doubles matches, and Schouten and junior Louise Booker are winners of five doubles contests.
SCOUTING LIPSCOMB: Lipscomb readies for the home bout with a 10-6 record on the year. The Bisons are in the midst of a four-dual winning streak, last time out claiming a 4-0 sweeping vs. UAB on March 25. Lipscomb has solid win percentages with a 67.6 win rate in doubles and 58.6 win rate in singles. Serafima Bobrovnikova sports a team-leading 11-4 singles record, and Deborah Dominguez Collado holds a leading 11-2 record in doubles. Jamie Aid serves as the head coach in her 13th season at the helm.
SERIES HISTORY: North Alabama and Lipscomb meet for the 21st time in series history. The Bisons lead the series 16-4, but the Lions claimed their first win since 2011 in the most recent meeting with a 5-2 home win on March 19, 2025.
