Beach Volleyball places four on CSC Academic All-District team

Robinson will advance to the CSC Academic All-America ballot for vote this week

GREENWOOD, Ind. (June 16, 2026) – College Sports Communicators (CSC) announced the 2026 Academic All-District At-Large Teams on Tuesday, as the University of North Alabama beach volleyball program had four selections this season.

The list includes graduate students Audrey Gauthier and Sarah Larkin Lewis, senior Selma Robinson and sophomore Brooke Bolden. All four selections have a 4.0 cumulative GPA. Robinson is a second-time honoree of the CSC award, while the other three players are first time winners.

Robinson, who was also UNA's nominee for ASUN Student-Athlete of the Year, will advance to the CSC Academic All-America ballot for a second straight season. The voting for Academic All-America begins today and will end next Tuesday, June 23. The award will be voted on by athletics communications professionals across the nation.

To be eligible, student-athletes must maintain at least a 3.5 grade-point average and must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically. The athletic criteria includes that eligible nominees must be in the lineup for 75 percent of an institution's team scoring event.

In addition to this honor, Robinson, Gauthier and Lewis were also named to the Academic All-ASUN team this season by the Atlantic Sun Conference.

Robinson completed a stellar season for the Lions, both in competition and in the classroom. She became the first female in school history to earn three consecutive First Team All-ASUN selections at the Division I level. She was unanimously chosen in 2026.

Robinson, a Sweden native, set the school record career wins with 94 and career matches with 136 this season. She ended with a 25-10 record this year, which was one shy of her single-season school record of 26 set in 2024.

She won the "Lion Queen" award at the 2026 UNA Player's Choice Award, which is awarded to the most impactful senior each season based on classroom performance, competition achievements and community engagement. She also earned the Keller Key in 2026, which is presented at each commencement to the honor graduate who, on the basis of having earned all credits for the bachelor's degree at this University, has achieved the highest-grade point average.

Robinson's partner for this season was Gauthier. Gauthier finished with a 23-9 record for herself — all with Robinson in the top flight. She ended the year on a seven-match win streak and went 6-1 in conference play.

Lewis finished a stellar season with a 22-14 record, including a 2-0 record in a pair of top flight matches and 20 wins in the second flight. She and Paige Griner teamed up for the squad's only win over No. 20 South Carolina in SEC action. This completed her fourth season at UNA. Lewis also served as the Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) President this season.

Bolden rounds out the list in her first season eligible for the award. The Coastal Carolina transfer completed her second season at UNA with a 23-13 record. She played primarily in the third flight while also making appearances in the fourth and fifth flights. Bolden went 17-5 from the three-spot alongside Jenna Atchley.
