COLLEGE: Clayton played two seasons for coach Joe Eatmon at Shelton State Community College...he averaged 8.4 points and 4.8 rebounds per game during his sophomore season...shot 70.5 percent from the floor...averaged 6.3 points and 4.3 rebounds per contest as a freshman...helped lead the Buccaneers to a 27-6 record during the 2016-17 season, including a Region XXII championship and a spot in the NJCAA national tournament...had a career-high 20 points on Jan. 20 against Southern Union and added a pair of 10-rebound games against Alabama Southern (Feb. 11) and Wallace-Hanceville (Jan. 19).

HIGH SCHOOL: He played at Robert E. Lee High School for coach Bryant Johnson...averaged a double-double during his senior season...played power forward and center as the Generals advanced to the Elite Eight round of the Class 7A state playoffs...was also a 2015 Alabama/Mississippi All-Star Game Participant.


PERSONAL: His full name is Trenton Stephon Clayton. He is the son of Michelle Clayton. He was born on December 26, 1996 and has two brothers, Jahkeem, and Markeith Clayton. He is majoring in sports management at UNA.
