UNA 2017: Selected first-team All-Gulf South Conference and Gulf South Conference Pitcher of the Year in 2017, in addition to earning two GSC Pitcher of the Week awards…First-team All-South Region by the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) and the Division II Conference Commissioners Association (D2CCA)…Named to the Gulf South Conference Academic Honor Roll…Won his first seven decisions at UNA and finished the season with a 10-2 record…Started all 14 games that he pitched in and had seven complete games…3.21 ERA with 41 runs, 37 earned, allowed in 103.2 innings…38 walks,  99 strikeouts and hit three batters…Two errors in 20 chances for a .900 fielding percentage…Picked up wins against Central Missouri, Bellarmine, West Georgia, Shorter, West Florida, Lee, West Alabama, Alabama-Huntsville, Mississippi College and Christian Brothers…Lost to Delta State and Valdosta State…Led the Gulf South Conference in innings pitched, tied for the lead in wins and tied for second in strikeouts… Selected by his UNA teammates and coaches as the 2017 Bob Stephenson Award winner…The award is presented to a team member who has contributed to the program on the field and in the classroom, showing great character, accountability and loyalty to the UNA baseball program.  The award is honor of the late Robert E. "Bob" Stephenson, a long-time UNA faculty member and Faculty Athletic Representative, to recognize his support and dedication to the UNA baseball program…COLLEGE: Played two years at Jefferson Davis Community College under head coach Darrell Blevins… Received the PTK award… Deans List in 2014 and 2016… Set a school record with 60 innings pitched… 58 strikeouts and a 4.20 ERA… HIGH SCHOOL: Pitched, played catcher, first base and third base at W.S.
