Biography
UNA 2017-18: Stafford was the only player to start all 28 games for the Lions last season...he led the team in scoring and was named Second Team All-Gulf South Conference...averaged 15.5 points and 35.1 minutes per contest...was fourth in the GSC in rebounding after pulling down 8.5 boards per game...reached double digits in scoring 24 times, including four games with at least 20 points and a season-high 27 at home against Shorter...also recorded six double-doubles on the year.
COLLEGE: He played at Northeast Mississippi Community College for coach Cord Wright...he averaged 10.7 points per game and was second on the team with 5.4 rebounds per contest at the JUCO level...scored a career-high 27 points against Southwest Mississippi in the MACJC State Tournament...reached double figures 21 times over his two-year career, including 15 during his sophomore campaign.
HIGH SCHOOL: He played for coach Keith Greene at Corinth High School...helped lead the Warriors to a state runner-up finish in the Class 4A state tournament during the 2012-13 season...was a first team all-county selection and received an All-State honorable mention in 2015...was also named the Class 1-4A Player of the Year.
PERSONAL: His full name is Kendall Jordan Stafford. He is the son of Fred and Val Stafford. He was born on March 28, 1997 and has one brother. He is majoring in exercise science at UNA.
