Biography
UNA 2020-21: Brim played in 17 games with 14 starts for the Lions last season...he was second on the team with 44 assists...averaged 8.6 points and 3.2 rebounds per contest...was 50-of-115 (43.5 percent) from the floor and 17-of-50 (34 percent) from three-point range...added three blocked shots on the year...reached double figures in scoring in eight games, including a season-high 19 on Jan. 15 at Kennesaw State.
UNA 2019-20: He saw action in all 30 games, including 29 starts in the 2019-20 season...was fourth on the team in scoring at 9.1 points per game and second on the team with 80 total assists...shot 41.3 percent from three-point range and added 78 rebounds and 18 steals on the year...was named ASUN Conference Newcomer of the Week on Nov. 18...scored a career-high 22 points on Dec. 20 at Alabama A&M.
OTHER COLLEGE: He played two seasons at Pearl River Community College in Mississippi...was a two-time All-State and two-time All-Region 23 selection...was also selected to the region all-tournament team both seasons...averaged 14.4 points and 2.3 assists per game as a sophomore...shot 47.1 percent from the floor, 34.2 percent from three-point range and connected on 92-of-113 (81.4 percent) of his free throw attempts.
HIGH SCHOOL: He prepped for his father, coach Cedric Brim at Shannon High School in Tupelo, Miss...earned all-region and All-State honors as a senior...was the Class 4A scoring leader during his senior season...scored a game-high 30 points in the championship game to lead the Red Raiders to a division 1-4A title...set a school record for most steals in a game.
PERSONAL: His full name is Cedric Demond Brim, II. He is the son of Cedric and Adrian Brim. He was born on August 21, 1998 and has one brother and one sister. He is majoring in sports management at UNA.
