COLLEGE: Ginnie played small forward at Pensacola State for coach Pete Pena…He helped the team to a state runner-up finish in 2015…was named second team All-Panhandle Conference…He averaged 10.3 points, 2.9 rebounds and 1.3 assists per game...shot 45.5 percent from the floor, including 36.4 percent from three-point range...shot 54.9 percent as a freshman, averaging 8.7 points and 1.5 rebounds per contest.
HIGH SCHOOL: He played for the William M. Raines High School for coach Douglas White…helped the team to a 23-7 record and berth in the regional playoffs in 2013…averaged 15 points and 9 rebounds per game as a senior in 2013...was named to the All-Gateway Conference Team and was also an All-First Coast and All-State selection…holds the school record for highest field goal percentage.
PERSONAL: His full name Johnell Rasheed Ginnie. He is the son of Raneall adn Annette Castillo. He was born on October 25, 1994 and has two siblings. He is majoring in communications at UNA.
