Biography
UNA 2018-19: Agnew saw action in 29 games, including 18 starts as a true freshman for the Lions last season...he was named to the ASUN All-Freshmen Team and was the second-leading freshman scorer in the league at 11.3 points per game...reached double figures in scoring 18 times on the year...was named ASUNÂ Player and Newcomer of the Week on Jan. 21 following consecutive games where he scored a career-high 26 points at Jacksonville, then hit a buzzer-beating half-court shot to defeat Stetson, earning a spot on ESPN's Top Plays that night...finished the year with 89 rebounds, 33 steals, 31 assists and four blocked shots.
HIGH SCHOOL: He played point guard and shooting guard for coach Rod Watts at John Glenn High School in Westland, Michigan…helped lead the Rockets to a division championship...also played a Taylor Made Prep academy in Pensacola, Fla., in 2018 where he averaged 22 points per game, including a 24-point average against eight junior college teams.
PERSONAL: His full name is Christian Emmanuel Agnew. He is the son of AcKillies Agnew and Paula Mitchell. He was born on July 30, 1999 and has three brothers and one sister.
