Tanner McGill enters his sixth year on staff for the North Alabama men’s basketball team. After serving four years as head student manager, he was named graduate assistant in 2019.

During his time as a manager, McGill was responsible for filming games, assisting in travel, overseeing all other student managers, aiding in skill development for players and assisting with on-campus recruiting visits. He graduated from North Alabama in 2019 with a Bachelor’s of Arts Degree in Spanish.

Along with his managing duties at UNA, McGill was also a volunteer assistant for the girls basketball team at his alma mater, Summertown High School in Tennessee. He is currently pursuing a master’s degree in sports management at UNA.
