Biography
UNA 2020-21: Blackmon was second on the team in scoring after starting all 24 games for UNA last season...he averaged 10.1 points and 2.3 rebounds per contest...led the team with 53 assists...shot 31.3 percent from three-point range...finished the year with 42 treys, giving him 174 for his career and moving him into fifth place on the school's all-time list...became UNA's first Division I-era player to reach 1,000 career points...finished the year with 242 points to up his career total to 1,081...reached double figures in scoring 11 times, including two games with at least 20 points.
UNA 2019-20: He started all 30 games for UNA in the 2019-20 season...was second on the team in scoring at 12.4 points per game...led the team in three-point shooting at 37.2 percent...reached double figures in scoring 16 times, including a team-high five games with at least 20 points...connected on 80-of-103 free throws and added 73 rebounds and 30 steals...averaged 2.8 assists per game after totaling 84 on the season...set a new career-high with back-to-back 26-point games against South Dakota State and Louisiana Tech...closed the season with consecutive 22-point performances against FGCU and Stetson.
UNA 2018-19: He played in all 32 games, including 31 starts in the 2018-19 season...was named ASUN Freshman of the Year after leading the team, as well as all league freshmen in scoring at 14.6 points per game...finished seventh overall in ASUN scoring after reaching double figures 27 times, including four games with at least 20 points...was the only unanimous selection on the ASUN All-Freshmen Team...shot 76.7 percent from the free throw line and added 111 rebounds and six blocked shots...led the team with 87 assists and also had a team-high 56 steals...was named ASUN Newcomer of the Week on Nov. 12...scored a career-high 23 points on Jan. 16 at Jacksonville.
HIGH SCHOOL: He played at Hoover High School for coach Charles Burkett...played point guard and shooting guard for the Bucs...helped lead the Bucs to a trip to the Class 7A Final Four in 2016...selected to the 2016 Class 7A all-tournament team as a junior...averaged 25.4 points, five rebounds and four assists per game as a senior...scored more than 1,500 career points...received Birmingham Tip-Off Club Co-Player of the Year honors as a senior and was an Alabama Mr. Basketball Finalist in the 2017-18 season…helped lead Hoover to the 2016 Class 7A Final Four.
