UNA 2019-20: James started all 30 games for UNA as a true freshman during the 2019-20 season...he was third on the team in scoring at 9.9 points per game and second in rebounding at 4.8 rebounds per game...was named to the ASUN Conference All-Freshman Team...was 118-of-238 from the floor to finish fifth in the ASUN with a 49.6 percent from the floor...also had 31 steals, 25 assists and 11 blocked shots on the year...reached double figures in scoring 14 times, including two games with at least 20 points and added three double-doubles on the year...was named ASUN Newcomer of the Week on Jan. 13...scored a career-high 23 points on Feb. 15 at North Florida.
HIGH SCHOOL: He played small forward and power forward for coach George Washington at Pebblebrook High School in Mabelton, Ga...helped lead the team to a 21-game winning streak and best record in school history at 22-3...averaged a double-double for the Falcons, producing 19 points and 13 rebounds per game...also averaged two blocks per contest...was a first team all-region and all-county  selection...was also a first-team pick by the Georgia Athletic Coaches Association...was named the team's most improved player and defensive player of the year...completed a year of prep school at Potterhouse Prep in Florida before signing with UNA.
