HIGH SCHOOL: Griffin played point guard and shooting guard at Covenant Christian School under coach Bret Waldrep…he finished his career with the Eagles with a school-record 2,116 career points, 576 rebounds and 401 assists...was a third team All-State selection at the Class 1A level and first team all-area...averaged 22 points, 6.4 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 2.3 steals per game as Covenant won area runner-up finishes in 2014, 2015, and 2016…was also an all-county selection four straight years.
