Biography

UNA 2018-19: King was one of four UNA players to see action in all 32 games during the 2018-19 season...he started six games and averaged 5.4 points and 1.0 rebounds per contest...shot 40.3 percent from the floor on 54-of-134 shooting with 15 three-point baskets...added 29 assists, 19 steals and three blocked shots...reached double figures in scoring seven times, including three of the last four games of the year...posted back-to-back 20-point performances near the end of the season with 21 points on Feb. 23 at Stetson and 24 points on Feb. 26 at home against Jacksonville. 

OTHER COLLEGE: He played his freshman season at Columbia State Community College under coach Winston Neal...averaged 14 points, three rebounds and three assists per game.

HIGH SCHOOL:
He played point guard and shooting guard at Halls High School under coach Winston Jarrett…averaged 18 points, five assists and four rebounds per game…was a three-time all-district selection...was also named all-region in 2016 and earned District MVP honors...set a school record by scoring more than 1,500 career points...helped lead the team to a 25-0 regular season, including a regional championship and a district runner-up finish.

PERSONAL: His full name is Devarius Tavon King. He is the son of Keanon King and Tequilla Nance. He was born on December 13, 1997 and has four brothers and three sisters. He is majoring in sports management at UNA.
