AFTER UNA: Received a mini-camp invite from the Atlanta Falcons ... Invited to play in both the FCS and FBS Trillion Bowl ... Had eight tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss and a sack in the FCS Bowl.

UNA 2023: First team all-conference by Phil Steele and FCS Football Central ... Second team all-conference by the United Athletic Conference ... Played in 11 games with 10 starts ... Totaled 63 tackles to rank third on the team, including 33 solo tackles ... Led the team with 9.5 tackles for loss and 4.0 sacks for a total of 33 yards lost ... Also led the team with five QB hurries and two fumble recoveries — both against Tennessee Tech in a 20-7 road win ... Added a pair of pass breakups for the season ... Recorded at least four tackles in every FCS game ... Had a tackle for loss in seven of his 11 games ... Had eight tackles, a pass defended and two hurries in a win over Chattanooga ... Also had eight tackles against Tarleton State and Austin Peay ... Added two tackles for loss in the TSU game in his home state.

UNA 2022: Played in all 11 games in 2022 …17 solo tackles and 10 assists with 7.5 tackles for loss of 28 yards and two sacks for 11 yards and defended one pass.

PRIOR TO UNA: Spent three seasons at FCS program Houston Baptist (now Houston Christian) in Houston, Texas.

2021: Played in eight games for Houston Baptist ... made 31 tackles (14 solo) ... recorded 4.5 tackles for a loss, 1.5 sacks, five quarterback hurries and recovered 2 fumbles ... made eight tackles and 2.5 tackles for a loss at Nicholls State (10/2) ... made 7 tackles and had two quarterback hurries against Northwestern State (10/9). 

2020: Ossai started all four games for Houston Baptist … made 22 tackles (12 solo), recorded one tackle for loss, three quarterback hurries, two pass breakups and forced a fumble … made six tackles at Texas Tech (9/12) … made a career-high 10 tackles in a 33-30 victory at Eastern Kentucky (10/3) … in the win over EKU, had a quarterback hurry that led to a red zone interception and forced the fumble on the Colonels’ final drive to seal the victory … named Second Team All Conference for the Southland ... named to the Southland Conference Commissioner’s Academic Honor Roll. 

2019: Appeared in 10 games as a true freshman for Houston Baptist, recording 36 tackles, 3.5 tackles for loss, three quarterback hurries and a pass breakup … made a season-high 11 tackles against Texas Wesleyan (9/7) … registered seven stops, including 2.5 TFLs, at Abilene Christian (10/12) … posted eight stops and a quarterback hurry in a start at Sam Houston State (11/23) … named to the Southland Conference Commissioner’s Academic Honor Roll.

HIGH SCHOOL: Started one year at Oak Ridge High School for coach Derek Rush ... named second-team academic all-district, making 48 tackles (34 solo), six sacks, two forced fumbles and one fumble recovery.

PERSONAL: From Conroe, Texas ... Has three brothers and one sister ... His brother, Joseph, played at Texas and was drafted by the Cincinnati Bengals in the third round of the 2021 NFL Draft.
