UNA 2021-22:Â A member of the 2022 ASUN All-Freshman Team, Ortiz was one of just two players on the five-member team to be a unanimous selection...he led UNA and was 11th in the ASUN in scoring at 14.4 points per game...finished the season with 22 games in double figures, including nine games with at least 20 points and one 31-point showing against Central Arkansas to set a UNA single-game scoring record at the Division I level...In ASUN play, he was the top freshman scorer in the league and fifth-best overall at 17 points per contest.
