UNA 2015: Winkler played in a set during three different matches on the year...she totaled 10 assists and six digs and a kill...had six assists on Oct. 20 during a 3-0 win at West Georgia.
UNA 2014: She saw action in 11 matches as a true freshman in 2014...played one set each, totaling 41 assists on the year...added eight kills, 19 digs and a block assist...recorded a season-high eight assists on Oct. 10 during a 3-0 win at Mississippi College.
HIGH SCHOOL: She played for coach Pete Mastandrea at Glenbard West High School in Glen Ellyn, Ill...was a team captain and starting setter on a team that went 34-4 her senior season, obtaining a Top 3 ranking in the state...also led the team in service aces...played her freshman and sophomore seasons at St. Francis High School in Whaton, Ill.
PERSONAL: Her full name is Abigail Jaye Winkler. She is the daughter of Jay and Sue Winkler. She was born on May 26, 1996 and has one brother, Johnny. She is majoring in marine biology at UNA.
