HIGH SCHOOL: Coffey played for coach  Robyn Hutto at Lawrence County High School in Moulton, Ala...she was a middle hitter and helped lead the Red Devils to a trio of county and area championships, as well as appearances in the Class 4A Elite 8 in 2008 and 2012...was a four-time all-county, all-area, all-regional and All-State selection...played in the AHSAA North/South All-Star Game...led the team in blocks for four years and in kills for two seasons.

PERSONAL: Her full name is Adrien Gwen Coffey. She is the daughter of AJ and Susan Coffey. She was born on February 24, 1995 and has one brother, Nolan, and one sister, Olivia. She is majoring in elementary education at UNA.
