UNA 2023: Atlantic Sun Conference First Team selection who started in all 29 matches and 109 sets... tallied 359.5 points with 304 kills on 576 attempts and a .429 hitting percentage... set the ASUN record and UNA Division I program record in season hitting percentage, also finishing sixth in the NCAA in the category... offensively finished with three assists and one service ace...led the Lions with 97 blocks while averaging the ninth-most blocks per set in the ASUN (.89 per set)... also had a .941 service reception percentage on 17 attempts with 25 digs... had 18 matches where she hit at least at least .400 and had double-digit kills in 12 of those, tallying double-digit kills in 16 matches... set career-highs in kills and hitting percentage with 19 kills against Alabama A&M (Sept. 12) and a .818 hitting percentage against Bellarmine (Nov. 11)... won her first two career ASUN Player of the Week awards on Sept. 18 and Nov. 6, respectively
UNA 2022: Played in 28 matches in the 2022 season … Totaled 198 kills and averaged 1.92 kills per set … Finished the season with eight solo blocks with 73 total blocks … Added four digs and one assist.
UNA 2021: Griggs started all 29 matches for the Lions last season ... she finished the season third in the ASUN with 15 solo blocks and ninth with 84 total blocks ... led UNA and was ninth in the ASUN with a .289 hitting percentage ... also hit .297 in ASUN play ... totaled 236 kills, averaging 2.21 kills per-set ... also had 27 digs and three assists ... had a career-high 14 kills on Sept. 3, at Belmont ... also had nine kills and nine blocks on Oct. 15, against Central Arkansas.
UNA SPRING 2021: She was one of four players to see action in all 14 matches and all 48 sets in the spring of 2021 ... had 12 starts and averaged 1.38 kills per set ... was second on the team with 53 blocks and a 1.10 per-set average ... also produced 10 digs and an assist on the year.
UNA 2019: She led UNA in blocks and kills as a true freshman in 2019 ... recorded 178 kills for a 1.76 per-set average ... added 83 total blocks for a .82 per-set average, which was the second-highest freshman total in the ASUN Conference on the year ... also had five assists and 20 digs during the season ... reached double figures in kills five times, including three of the final four matches of the season ... had a season-high 13 kills and added seven blocks on Oct. 4 against Liberty ... was named ASUN Freshman of the Week on Sept. 30 after totaling nine kills and 13 blocks against FGCU and NJIT.
HIGH SCHOOL: She prepped for coach Cassie Mullimax at Arab High School ... played middle and outside hitter, helping lead the Knights to a trio of Final Four appearances in the Class 5A state tournament ... was named the 2018 Class 5A Player of the Year ... also earned all-area, all-region and ASWA first team All-State honors as a senior after recording 933 kills and 338 blocks ... finished her high school career with 1,268 kills, 458 blocks and 212 service aces.
