UNA INDOOR 2023: Appeared in 28 matches while playing in 78 sets...tallied 22 points on 22 services aces on the season, tying a career high...also registered 23 assists on the offensive end...registered a .964 service reception percentage on 55 attempts to go with 83 digs and five blocks...had an ace in 15 matches, finishing with a season-high three against Old Dominion on Sept. 9 and Austin Peay on Sept. 22...registered double-digit digs in four matches with a season-high 19 against Louisiana Tech and Arkansas State on August 25 and 26, respectively.

UNA BEACH 2022: Helped lead UNA to a 16-14 overall record and 3-2 showing in the ASUN Conference Tournament … Had a 17-12 record last season, going 1-6 at No. 4 and 16-6 at No. 5 … played the majority of her matches with Lauren Quigley, going 1-5 at No. 4 and 12-4 at No. 5 for a 13-9 record … Went 4-1 with Katy Floyd, 0-1 at No. 4 and 4-0 at No. 5…went 0-2 at No. 5 with Caroline Conkle.
 
UNA INDOOR 2022: Gerig  played in 86 sets in 26 matches for the Lions … tied for the team lead with 19 service aces.  
 
UNA INDOOR 2021: Gerig played in all 29 matches for the Lions last season ... she split time at libero and defensive specialists, finishing the season with a team-high 269 digs ... averaged a team-high 2.72 digs per-set, including a season-high 21 digs on Oct. 15, against Central Arkansas ... added 58 assists and 22 service aces on the year. 

UNA SPRING 2021: She played in 44 sets in the spring of 2021, including 13 matches as a true freshman ... was the libero the majority of the season, recording a team-high 149 digs and an average of 3.39 digs per set ... added 31 assists, 10 service aces and a kill on the year ... reached double figures in digs six times, including the final five matches of the season ... recorded a career-high 26 digs on March 7, against Bellarmine.

HIGH SCHOOL: She prepped at Normal Community High School for coach Christine Konopasek ... was a setter for the Ironmen, earning MVP honors as a junior ... was also a first team all-conference selection and added second team All-State honors.

PERSONAL: Full name is Kathleen Diane Gerig … Daughter of Doug and Becky Gerig … Birthday is October 23 and has seven siblings, including her sister, Vanessa, who played volleyball at UNA in 2010 and 2011.
