Biography

UNA 2021: Brown saw action in 21 matches as a true freshman last season...she had one start and totaled 88 kills on the year...added 18 digs, five blocks and three service aces...reached double figures in kills three times, including a career-high 18 on Nov. 14, at Central Arkansas.

HIGH SCHOOL: She played for coach Andrea Kelly at Summertown High School...played outside hitter for the Eagles, who won back-to-back 1A state titles in 2019 and 2020...also helped lead the team to a district championship and consecutive regional titles...was a three-time all-district, three-time all-region and two-time All-State selection...earned regional and state MVP honors as a senior in 2020.

PERSONAL: Her full name is Miya-Cole Brown. She is the daughter of Jason and Brandy Brown. She was born on February 14, 2003 and has one brother. She is majoring in nursing at UNA.
