VOLLEYBALL CLOSES SEASON WITH 3-1 LOSS AT CENTRAL ARKANSAS

CONWAY, Ark., – Central Arkansas rallied from an opening-set loss to knock off the University of North Alabama volleyball team 3-1 Sunday afternoon in the season finale for both teams. With the 25-23, 21-25, 29-31, 20-25 loss, UNA closes the 2021 season with a 9-20 record, including a 3-13 mark in ASUN Conference play.
 
Miya-Cole Brown led UNA with a career-high 18 kills. The freshman from Summertown, Tenn., added a block and a service ace on the day. AK Griggs added 10 kills for the Lions. Breylee Linder also had 44 assists while Katy Floyd led all players with 22 digs to go along with her nine kills and four service aces.
 
UNA does not have a senior on the roster and will enter next season as a fully-fledged Division I member of the ASUN Conference.
