FLORENCE, Ala. -- With the game tied 1-1 in the fourth inning, Tennessee-Martin scored three runs in the top of that frame and added five more in the sixth on the way to a 12-3 win over North Alabama at Mike Lane Field.
The loss drops UNA to 2-5, while the Skyhawks improve to 4-4.

Jacob Bradshaw did not allow a hit over the first two innings before giving up a run in the third on two walks and an RBI-single.
The Lions answered in the bottom of the third when
Levi Jensen got a leadoff single, stole second base and moved to third on a throwing error. After a walk to
Peyton Thomas,
Dominick McIntyre executed a perfect sacrifice squeeze to drive in Jensen with the tying run.
UT-Martin went up 4-1 in the fourth on three-run homer by Hunter McLean and added five runs in the sixth on a grand slam by Reid Halfacre and a solo homer by Will Smith.
Down 9-1, UNA got a run back in the bottom of the sixth when
Drew Hudson got a leadoff double and eventually scored on a passed ball.
The Skyhawks added two more runs in the seventh to make it 11-2 and UNA got a run in the eighth as Hudson again doubled and scored on
Devne Daniel's RBI-single.
UTM scored a run in the top of the ninth to make the final count 12-3.
Bradshaw (1-2) took the loss for UNA, allowing six runs on four hits over five and a third innings.
Carson Howard pitched an inning and a third and gave up five runs on five hits.
Bryse Ingle entered the game in the seventh and struckout the first four batters that he faced. He would pitch two and a third innings and allow a run on two hits.
Reid Homan's single in the ninth inning extended his current hitting streak to seven games and he and
Devne Daniel have reached base safely in every game this season.
The Lions and Skyhawks meet again on Saturday at 2 p.m., in the second game of the three-game set.
