LANDER, MARTIN NAMED ASUN BEACH VOLLEYBALL PAIR OF THE WEEK

ATLANTA, Ga., – Officials with the ASUN Conference have named North Alabama's Catie Ladner and Mackenzie Martin the league's beach volleyball Pair of the Week.
 
Playing at the No. 2 position, the duo swept both matches on the week as the Lions defeated UT-Martin 4-1 and 3-2. They won each match in straight sets and provided the clinching point both times as UNA improved to 12-10 on the season.
 
UNA will close out the regular season this weekend with a trio of matches at the UAB Blazer Beach Bash. The Lions will open play against the host Blazers Friday at 4 p.m. before facing Mercer and Louisiana-Monroe the following day.
