STARKVILLE, Miss. – The University of North Alabama scored four runs in the top of the first inning but couldn't hold it as Mississippi State rallied for a 14-4 win over the Lions at Dudy Noble Field.
After UNA went on top 4-0, the Bulldogs scored seven runs in the bottom of the first and added one run in the fifth, five in the sixth and one in the ninth.
With the loss, North Alabama is now 12-38 entering its final series of the season at Lipscomb, beginning on Thursday.
Luke Harper led off the game with a single for the Lions, extending his streak of having reached base to 28 straight games. He advanced to second on a wild pitch and scored on a
Reid Homan single.
Devne Daniel walked and
Drew Hudson singled in the second run. Reid SIngewald singled and
Peyton Thomas had a two-run single to make it 4-0.
Homan led UNA with three hits in the game.

Jacob Bradshaw (1-8) took the loss, allowing seven runs in one inning on three hits and five walks.
