PANAMA CITY BEACH, Fla. -- The University of North Alabama women's golf team finished third in a15-team field at the 2023 lady Bison Bay Point Classic to open their 2023 spring season.

The Lions' final round 307 put them at 926 total. UNA finished 17 strokes off the pace of host and tournament champion Lipscomb at 909. Florida Gulf Coast was second at 913.

Junior Allycia Gan of Selangar, Malaysiawas UNA's top individual performer, finishing tied for fifth with a 226 total. She had rounds of 75, 76 and 75. UNA's Zarah Fisher finished tied for 14th at 231, while Hannah Dees tied for 29th (237), Jacqueline Klemm tied for 32nd (238) and Jahnavi Prakhya tied for 59th (252).
