JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Paula Klemperer and Taylor Seney earned their fifth win in the last six matches to lead the University of North Alabama beach volleyball team to a split in road matches, falling 4-1 to North Florida before downing Jacksonville 3-2.

Klemperer and Seney went 5-1 at No. 1 on the Lions' six match road trip to Florida.

They earned UNA's only win in the loss to North Florida, downing Audrey Brooks and Iris Fletcher in straight sets, 21-19, 21-17.

Against Jacksonville, the Lions lost at No. 4 and 5 before Selma Robinson and Marti McLaurin earned a 21-15, 21-12 win at No. 3. Klemperer and Seney then won at No. 1 to tie the team match. UNA's No.2 pair of Mackenzie Martin and Taylor Floyd then pulled out a three-set, 19-21, 21-10, 15-13 win to give the Lions the team victory.

The Lions next matches are on Tuesday, April 4 in Martin, Tenn., against Austin Peay and UT-Martin.
