NORTH FLORIDA RALLIES FOR 3-2 WIN OVER UNA VOLLEYBALL

JACKSONVILLE, Fla., – The University of North Alabama volleyball team let a 2-0 lead slip away Sunday as North Florida rallied or a 19-25, 20-25, 25-15, 25-18, 15-13 victory. The loss leaves UNA with a 12-6 overall record and a 2-4 mark in ASUN Conference play.
 
The Ospreys began the comeback after a pair of UNA wins had the Lions in position for their first-ever win in the series. UNF dominated the third set to avoid the sweep, then extended the match with a 25-18 victory at Jacksonville's Swisher Gymnasium.
 
In the fifth set, North Florida maintained the momentum and led wire to wire.
 
Anna Katherina Griggs led the Lions with 14 kills. Maggie Sullivan added 10 kills while Elif Ozsoy recorded 45 assists and 16 digs. Defensively, Ella Ratzloff led UNA with 19 digs.
 
UNA will return home to host Stetson on Friday. Match time is set for 6 p.m. at Flowers Hall.
