FLORENCE, Ala. (February 14, 2026) – Love…and basketball…is in the air this weekend.
Speaking of air, the University of North Alabama men's basketball team will get some national air-time this Sunday as the Lions welcome Eastern Kentucky to CB&S Bank Arena for a 3 p.m. tip. The game will be nationally-televised on ESPNU, making this the first time a UNA home basketball game has been nationally-televised on a linear network.
The game will also be a "white out" presented by CB&S Bank. UNA will have 2,500 white T-shirts for fans as they arrive to their seat. Fans are encouraged to join in the fun, wear white and show a national audience why "The Bank" is one of the best environments in mid-major hoops.
Fans can also make signs for the game and attempt to get their sign on national television. Sunday will also be Anderson College of Nursing Day and will include a halftime performance from the Kilby Dribblers.
The broadcast crew on ESPNU will be James Westling and Paul Biancardi. Tom Piero will be the producer, while Drew Vincent will be the director. Fans can watch on any streaming platform that carries ESPNU, including
espn.com/watch.
Fans can also tune into
Roar Lions Productions for the local broadcast with "Voice of the Lions"
Benjamin Ray on the call. The Countdown to Tipoff show will begin at 2:40 p.m. Fans can access the audio stream on Facebook, X, YouTube, Twitch, RoarLions.com and on Varsity Network.
Tickets are available
at this link or by calling the ticket office at 256-765-5466.
Fans are encouraged to arrive early for the game, as parking is limited due to ongoing construction. As such, the lot near the Hal Self Athletic Annex will be unavailable. Violators will be towed if parked in the construction zone.
Lots A and B will be in the parking lot directly below Flowers Hall. Lot A pass holders will have coned off spots near the staircase. Shuttles will be available to take fans up to the field house lot for entry into CB&S Bank Arena.
Lot C parking will be in the parking lot below the Mitchell Burford Science and Technology Building. Residential Students will have access into Lot C with their hang tags. The public can also park in this lot for $12.
Limited handicap parking will be available in front of the CB&S Bank Arena ticket office.
Due to worship services, the College View Church of Christ parking lot will be unavailable for Sunday's game. Fans are welcome to park at College View for sporting events except on Sundays and Wednesdays. Students, faculty and staff can park in the designated area Monday-Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

NOTES
LAST TIME OUT: North Alabama played another competitive matchup inside CB&S Bank Arena on Wednesday night, but West Georgia was able to halt off a potential second half surge for an 82-73 road win in Atlantic Sun Conference play. Unlike Monday's game against Central Arkansas where UNA led for 32 minutes, the Lions trailed most of the way but kept it close until the final minute. The Lions were just two possessions down with just over a minute to go, but an untimely foul allowed the Wolves to put it out of reach.
CAREER AND SEASON HIGHS: Senior
Donte Bacchus has been on a scoring streak as of late, averaging over 20 points per game in the last six outings. He finished with a career-high 26 points on Wednesday against West Georgia. Sophomore
Kevin de Kovachich added a season-high 20 points against the Wolves, marking his second-career 20-plus scoring effort.
SCOUTING THE LIONS: UNA has not had the conference run it had hoped for, owning a 7-17 overall record with a 2-11 mark in league games. Shorthanded over the last two weeks, UNA has played without key players
Canin Jefferson and
DarKaun King due to injury. The Lions have relied heavily on its starting group with the emergence of true freshman
Braylon Patton. He recently scored a career-high 19 points at Austin Peay. The Lions rank second in the ASUN in blocks with 4.0 per game.
SCOUTING THE COLONELS: EKU is not too far ahead of the Lions in the ASUN standings, entering 9-17 overall and 5-8 in the Atlantic Sun Conference. The Colonels have won two of the last three games with a pair of home wins over FGCU and Stetson last week. This past Wednesday, EKU lost 75-61 against Lipscomb in Nashville. The bulk of EKU's scoring comes from behind the arc, as it ranks second in the ASUN with 11.2 made triples per game. Three Colonels are above 10.0 PPG, led by Juan Cranford Jr. with 12.6 PPG.
SERIES HISTORY: EKU has a 5-3 edge in the all-time series dating back to its entry into the ASUN in 2022. However, UNA has won two of the three meetings in Florence, including an 88-67 win at CB&S Bank Arena last season. The Colonels took the first matchup of 2026 with a high-scoring 88-80 win over UNA in Richmond, Ky. back in January.
CAREER MARKS: Since the start of ASUN play, seven Lions have scored new career-highs. This includes
Corneilous Williams (28),
Donte Bacchus (26),
Dallas Howell (24),
Canin Jefferson (24),
Braylon Patton (19),
DarKaun King (11) and
Cortez Graham-Howard (10).
SIXTH-YEAR SENIOR: Dallas Howell is the longest-tenured member of the program with six seasons at UNA, including a COVID-19 season and an injury redshirt last season. He is one just seven players in Division to play for six seasons, but he is the only one to play all six at the same school. The other schools with a sixth-year player include Oklahoma, Iowa State, USC, Texas, Bowling Green and Tarleton State.
BLOCK PARTY: The Lions rank second in the ASUN with 4.1 blocks per game. West Georgia is the only team above UNA at 5.0 blocks per game. UNA is the only ASUN team with three players in the top 10 of blocked shots per game — Howell with 1.1 per game (T-4th), senior center
Jamal Albritton with 1.0 per game (T-6th) and Williams with 0.8 per game (T-10th).
BACK TO THE BANK STATEMENTS: The Lions are looking for their first home win since ASUN play began back in January. Last season, UNA won 11 straight games at home against ASUN opponents, including a 9-0 record in the regular season and two postseason home wins in the ASUN Championship Tournament. Prior to a loss to ETSU in November, UNA had the fifth-longest home win streak in the country with 16 straight victories.
STILL SHOWING UP: UNA looks to lead the ASUN in average attendance for a second straight season, currently averaging 2,296 fans per game. The Lions averaged 2,367 fans per game last season, ranking ahead of FGCU and Lipscomb in second and third, respectively. Austin Peay ranks second in the conference currently with 2,002 per game.
ON DECK: The Lions close a four-game home stand this coming Wednesday against Queens at 6 p.m. This will begin the final four-game stretch before the postseason tournament with games at Lipscomb, at home against Bellarmine for Senior Night and on the road at West Georgia for the regular season finale.
