OKATIE, S.C. -- The University of North Alabama men's golf team finished third at the Oldfield Invitational with a three-over-par, three round total.
The Lions, competing in their first match of the 2021 spring season, had an 867 total with rounds of 288, 287 and 292.
Virginia Tech won the team title with a 28-under-par 836 total. The Hokies were followed by Cincinnati (858), UNA, South Carolina Beaufort (887), Stetson (889), Morehead State (903), George Mason (913) and George Washington (943).
Senior
Clayton Larsen of Manchester, Iowa paced UNA as he tied for fifth individually at 213. He shot rounds of 73, 70 and 70.
UNA's
Frankie Wade tied for 15th at 218, while
Cedric Otten tied for 20th (222) and
Jackson Wedgeworth and
Tom Roed Karlsen tied for 27th (224).
