ATLANTA, Ga. -- University of North Alabama freshman third baseman Jonathan Lane of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., has been named to the 2022 ASUN Conference All-Freshman Baseball Team.
 
Lane started the first 47 consecutive games of the season for UNA at third base before sustaining a season-ending injury. He hit .222 (51-of-184) to finish fourth on the team in batting. He scored 22 runs and drove in 28, while leading the team with five home runs. He had the team's second longest hitting streak at 12 games and had 14 games with multiple hits.
 
Lane is the first Lion to earn a spot on the ASUN All-Freshman team during UNA's four-year transition.
