ARLINGTON, Texas (July 16, 2024) – The United Athletic Conference released details regarding the 2024 UAC Football Media Day this week, as the University of North Alabama will join the eight other league members in Arlington, Texas on Tuesday, July 23.
This year, UNA will be represented by seventh-year wide receiver
Takairee Kenebrew, incoming redshirt senior linebacker Jackson Bratton and second year head coach
Brent Dearmon.
For the second straight season, the UAC will host a full day of media availabilities at Texas Live! near Globe Life Field — home of the Texas Rangers baseball team. The media portion begins with the announcing of the all-conference team and preseason rankings at 11:30 a.m.
Kenebrew, Bratton and Dearmon will partake in a number of activities on Tuesday, including an exclusive interview on ESPN+ at 12 p.m. The broadcast will be available to the public with an ESPN+ subscription.
The three will also partake in some one-on-one interviews, social media interactions and promotional photos for the conference. The league will also host the teams at the Texas Rangers game on Monday evening.
UNA opens the 2024 season one week early, as the Lions will participate in the Week 0 FCS Kickoff hosted by ESPN Events on Saturday, August 24 at the historic Cramton Bowl in Montgomery, Ala. The game will kickoff at 6 p.m. against Southeast Missouri and will be nationally televised on ESPN.
