The Lions battled with Kennesaw State for 13th place for a majority of the day before the Owls took it by three strokes. Arthur Estas rose seven spots on the final day with a birdie and eagle on his opening nine holes. The Belgium sophomore finished in 31st to lead the Lions throughout the entire tournament. The Lions' starting lineup consisted of three sophomores in Brady, Estas and Lucas Latimer alongside two freshmen in Will Hindemit and Jack Morris. Hindemit earned his first start of the season for the Cullan Brown Collegiate. North Alabama was paired with Penn State, Xavier and Virginia Commonwealth (VCU) golfers for the round.

FAMILIAR FOE: Head coach Matt Terry took the helm this past summer after nine seasons with Louisiana Tech from 2017-2026. Terry took multiple individuals to the NCAA Division I regionals and scored the lowest single-round score at the CUSA Championship in program history during his time in Ruston. Terry had the team traveling to The Clerico before he left and upon his arrival in Florence, North Alabama joined the tournament, as well. Ahead of the final fall tournament, both his former and current teams are set to compete against each other for the first time this season.

Newly hired Schmitz Family Head Men's Golf Coach Matt Terry brought in three of his own additions in sophomore transfer Lucas Latimer alongside freshman signees Jack Morris and Will Hindemit. Freshmen Caden Clark and Anton Hedliden were signed ahead of Terry taking the helm. Last season, the Chattanooga Mocs were widely-recognized as the youngest starting lineup in Division I golf with two freshmen, two sophomores and a junior. The Lions are starting three sophomores and two freshmen for this tournament.
