LEXINGTON, Ky. (October 6, 2026) – The University of North Alabama men's golf team wrapped up the Cullan Brown Collegiate on Tuesday in 14th place at Lexington Country Club.
Round two of the tournament was suspended due to darkness at 7:12 p.m. on Monday evening. All five Lions had holes remaining which continued this morning before finishing round three of the tournament.
The Lions battled with Kennesaw State for 13th place for a majority of the day before the Owls took it by three strokes.
Arthur Estas rose seven spots on the final day with a birdie and eagle on his opening nine holes. The Belgium sophomore finished in 31st to lead the Lions throughout the entire tournament.
The Lions' starting lineup consisted of three sophomores in Brady, Estas and Lucas Latimer alongside two freshmen in Will Hindemit and Jack Morris. Hindemit earned his first start of the season for the Cullan Brown Collegiate.
North Alabama was paired with Penn State, Xavier and Virginia Commonwealth (VCU) golfers for the entire round.
At 36-over, the Lions bested United Athletic Conference foe EKU which had a 51-over two days. At one point during the first round, the Lions were tied for second and ahead of teams such as Penn State and Iowa State, among others.
After Estas, Morris finished in 59th after a two-over final round; he had a birdie with a 35 score on the front nine today. Latimer (+13) fell to 70th to complete his three rounds while Brady (+16) had three birdies to lift him eight spots. Hindemit (+18) rounded out the group with a five-over day.
Tennessee (-22) took the commanding team crown as the only team to finish under par for the three round tournament. Mississippi State (E) and host school Kentucky (+3) both finished under-par yesterday, but had an over-par final round.

North Alabama travels to the Clerico tournament hosted by Oral Roberts in Tulsa, Okla. at Ceder Ridge Country Club on Monday, Oct. 19.
