JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (March 5, 2026) – The Atlantic Sun Conference announced the Women's Golfer of the Week awards for this week on Thursday, naming University of North Alabama golfer Kerigan Klauber to the honor.

Klauber had the best tournament of her career with her lowest collegiate score and highest collegiate individual finish. She tied for second place at the Huntsville.org Intercollegiate with a 217 to finish one-over. The golfer she tied with was Austin Peay's Jordan Cowan, who was also named Co-Golfer of the Week with Klauber.

This marks the first career weekly honor for Klauber and the third in program history. She joins Jackie Klemm who won in 2023 and Jahnavi Prakhya who won in 2025.

"This is well deserved," said UNA head coach Neil Self. "An awesome honor for a great tournament!"

Klauber's 217 score is the third-lowest total in school history behind Klemm's 215 and 216 scores in 2023. Klemm's 216 was also done at RTJ Hampton Cove, making Klauber's 217 the second-best score for a Lion at this course. Klauber was just three strokes away from the leader.

Klauber finished with 11 birdies and just seven bogeys — the fewest bogeys of any player in the tournament. The birdie total is the fourth-best of the field.

As a team, the Lions finished second out of 10 teams with a final score of 25-over-par 889. This score is just five strokes shy of the all-time school record set at the same course in 2023. UNA was just seven strokes shy of the win, but led the rest of the field by at least 12 strokes.

UNA returns to action March 16-17 at the Magnolia Collegiate in Mobile, Ala.
