DOTHAN, Ala. (April 19, 2026) – The University of North Alabama women's golf team concluded the 2026 Atlantic Sun Conference Championship on Sunday, finishing ninth place with a final score of 914 to finish 50-over to defeat Bellarmine, Jacksonville and Queens.

Sunday provided the most difficult conditions with slight winds and precipitation. Every team finished above par in the final round, including North Florida, who won the ASUN Championship with a final score of 20-under-par 844 despite shooting eight-over today.

Redshirt junior Kerigan Klauber had the most improvement in round three, carding a two-over with three birdies. She moved up six spots on the final leaderboard to finish 47th. The 74 today matches her lowest career postseason round, first set in the second round of the 2024 ASUN Championship.

UNA's top overall golfer was junior Ava Schwartz, who had a final card of 77-73-80 to finish 14-over in a tie for 31st place. The 73 was UNA's second-lowest round of the weekend behind sophomore Olivia Whittle's 72 yesterday.

Whittle, sophomore Sirichaya Chanpen and true freshman Kiersten Riggins all finished within the top 40 for the tournament. Chanpen and Riggins tied for 35th at 15-over, while Whittle was tied for 39th at 16-over. Riggins had the second-lowest round for the Lions today at 78, beating the conditions enough to record a birdie on Hole 4.

The final leaderboard included UNF, followed by FGCU and Stetson in a tie for second. Central Arkansas was fourth, followed by Lipscomb, Austin Peay, West Georgia, EKU, UNA, Bellarmine, Jacksonville and Queens. UNA beat Bellarmine by five strokes and fell just three strokes behind West Georgia and two back of EKU.

UNF's Brianna Castaldi was the individual champion at nine-under with a final card of 67-67-73.
